Oregon Humane Society is the largest animal welfare organization in the Northwest, with campuses in Portland and Salem. A nonprofit organization that receives no government funding, OHS relies on donor support to provide a wide variety of services from pet adoption, training, humane law enforcement, veterinary care, humane education, and disaster response. OHS puts no time limits on how long animals remain at the shelter—a pet stays available for adoption as long as needed to find a loving home.
