The Al-Van Humane Society (AVHS) was founded in 1968 and in 2012, Al-Van adopted no-kill best practices. OUR MISSION is to compassionately serve the companion animals in our community of Allegan and Van Buren Counties by providing the best shelter, adoptive homes, education and resources available. Every pet deserves love, care, and above all, a home.
