Cedar Bend Humane Society is an open-admission, full-service animal shelter in Black Hawk County, Iowa. Homeless animals are provided with medical attention, shelter, a comfortable living space, enrichment items, and are advocated for until they find their forever families. CBHS offers many services that directly benefit both the animals and people in our community such as lost and found services, low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics, spay and neuter, TNR / Barn Cat programs, pet burial and cremation services, nursing facility pet therapy, and educational program. Adoption Center Hours Monday: CLOSED Tuesday-Sunday: 12pm - 6pm Saturday: 10am - 6pm Intake Center Hours Open daily: 9am - 5pm Closed 12pm - 1pm for lunch
