The Vanderburgh Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare agency in Evansville, Indiana. "Leading our community to eliminate pet overpopulation through Spay/Neuter, Adoption, and Humane Education. Alter, Adopt, Adore." The VHS shelters approximately 3,000 homeless animals every year in addition to providing low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services, humane education programming for kids & adults, a Safe Pets program for pets belonging to victims fleeing domestic violence, a Cardio for Canines human & dog exercise program, and much more.
