At Collier County Domestic Animal Services, our mission is to ensure compliance with local and State animal-related laws; to return strays to their owners and promote the adoption of homeless animals to new families; and to work toward ending the community problem of pet overpopulation. DAS is Collier County's only open-admission public animal shelter and is the only facility legally allowed to accept stray animals. Your animal may be picked up as a stray by an Animal Control Officer or dropped off at the shelter by a Good Samaritan. We always want to make every attempt to reunite a lost pet with his or her family.
